Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-22. This policy explains how the TradesQuote iOS app (“the App”), developed by IvanHub (ivanhub.co.uk), handles your data. The short version: your data stays on your iPhone.

1. On-device storage

Your quotes, invoices, clients, line items, saved items and business profile are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData. This data is never uploaded to any server operated by IvanHub.

2. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking

TradesQuote requires no account and no sign-in. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, no crash-reporting services, no tracking pixels and no third-party data brokers. We do not know who you are or how you use the App.

3. No network use, except purchases and optional sync

The App functions fully offline. The only time it uses the network is to verify and restore your one-time purchase through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit, and for optional iCloud sync if you enable it.

4. Optional iCloud sync

iCloud sync is off by default. When you enable it, your data syncs through Apple’s CloudKit in your own private iCloud account, tied to your Apple ID. IvanHub has no access to it.

5. Business logo & photos

If you add a logo, it is chosen from your photo library and stored locally with iOS file protection. It is only included in PDFs you generate and is not sent to us.

6. Exports & backups

PDFs and backup files are generated on-device and shared by you via the standard iOS share sheet. Where they go next is entirely your choice.

7. Purchases

The one-time £29.99 purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. IvanHub does not receive, store or process your payment details, and no third-party payment SDKs are used.

8. Children’s privacy

TradesQuote does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, and is not directed at children under 13. The App is designed to comply with COPPA, GDPR and UK-GDPR.

9. Your GDPR, UK-GDPR & CCPA rights

Because IvanHub collects and holds no personal data about you, your rights to access, rectify, erase and port data are satisfied by design — there is nothing on our end to act on. To delete your local data, use the App’s delete option or uninstall the App.

10. Disclaimer

TradesQuote helps you create quotes and invoices and calculates totals and VAT on your documents. It does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by HMRC or any tax authority. Always confirm figures and your VAT position with a qualified accountant. You are solely responsible for your invoices and tax returns.

11. Changes to this policy

If the App’s data practices materially change, this policy will be updated and noted in the App Store release notes, with the effective date above revised.
